Xunantunich & Ziplining Adventure

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your resort or by meeting us at our tour shop. Pickup times will be provided based on your location. We’ll start the day with breakfast before checking in 30 minutes prior to your scheduled flight or water taxi departure. You have two travel options to the mainland: ✈️ Flight Option: A scenic 15-minute flight from San Pedro to Belize City. 🚤 Water Taxi Option: A 1.5-hour boat ride across the Caribbean Sea to Belize City. Upon arrival in Belize City, you’ll meet your tour guide for the day. From there, it’s approximately a 2-hour drive to the village of Succotz in the Cayo District, home of the Xunantunich Maya Ruins. At the site, your guide will take you on a fascinating walk through this ancient ceremonial center, sharing its rich history. You’ll also have the opportunity to climb the El Castillo temple, which stands approximately 150 ft tall, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding jungle and Mopan River. After exploring Xunantunich, we’ll drive about 1 hour to Frank Eddy Village for a traditional Belizean lunch. Following lunch, it’s a short 15-minute drive to the adventure zone where you’ll experience ziplining. Ziplining: Your guide will introduce you to your zipline guides and equipment. The course features 6 platforms, starting at 25 ft high and gradually increasing in height and length. The last two lines are over 1,000 ft long, providing exhilarating views of the lush jungle below. Finally, it’s about a 1-hour drive back to Belize City’s municipal airstrip for your return flight to San Pedro. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting to take you back to your resort.
