Holchan & Shark Ray Alley Snorkeling Adventure

Your journey begins with a convenient pickup from your resort or by meeting us at our tour center. From there, it’s just a short boat ride to the first stop: the world-renowned Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Upon arrival, our licensed guide will provide a safety briefing, show you how to use your snorkeling gear, and explain the park rules to ensure a fun and responsible experience. You’ll then spend about an hour exploring Hol Chan—a natural cut through the second-largest barrier reef in the world, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Here, you’ll be surrounded by schools of tropical fish and vibrant marine life, including snappers, parrotfish, angelfish, stingrays, butterflyfish, and much more. Next, we’ll cruise just 10 minutes to the legendary Shark Ray Alley, one of Belize’s most unforgettable snorkeling spots. Here, you’ll have the chance to swim alongside friendly nurse sharks—often called the “puppies of the sea.” These gentle bottom feeders are completely harmless, giving you a safe and thrilling opportunity to snorkel among them as well as graceful southern stingrays gliding through the clear shallow waters. This extraordinary experience lasts about 30 minutes. Afterward, relax on board and soak in the sea breeze during a scenic 15-minute ride back to your resort.
