Altun Ha, Ziplining & Cave Tubing Adventure

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your resort or by meeting us at our tour shop. Pickup times will be provided based on your location. We’ll start the day with breakfast before checking in 30 minutes prior to your scheduled flight or water taxi departure. You have two travel options to the mainland: ✈️ Flight Option: A scenic 15-minute flight from San Pedro to Belize City. 🚤 Water Taxi Option: A 1.5-hour boat ride across the Caribbean Sea to Belize City. Upon arrival in Belize City, you’ll meet your tour guide for the day. From there, it’s approximately a 1-hour drive north to the Altun Ha Maya Ruins. At Altun Ha, your guide will take you on a walking tour, sharing the fascinating history of this ancient ceremonial center. You’ll also have the opportunity to climb the Temple of the Masonry Altars, which stands about 55 ft tall, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. After exploring Altun Ha, we’ll drive about 1 hour to Frank Eddy Village for a traditional Belizean lunch. Following lunch, it’s a 15-minute drive to the zipline adventure. Ziplining: Your guide will introduce you to your zipline instructors and equipment. The course features 6 platforms, starting at 25 ft high and gradually increasing in height and length. The final two lines are over 1,000 ft long, providing exhilarating views of the lush rainforest. Cave Tubing: After ziplining, your guide will take you to prepare for cave tubing. A 20–30 minute jungle hike leads to the cave entrance. Once there, your inner tubes will be tied together, and your guide will lead you on a 45-minute float through the cave system, sharing fascinating history and geological insights. After exiting the cave, you’ll float another 20 minutes along the jungle river before reaching the exit. A short 5-minute walk brings you back to the facilities, where you can change into dry clothing. From the cave tubing site, it’s about a 1-hour drive to Belize City’s municipal airstrip. You’ll check in for your return flight to San Pedro, where our staff will be waiting to take you back to your resort.
