Altun Ha, Ziplining & Belize Zoo Tour

Your day begins with a pickup from your resort or by meeting us at our tour shop. Pickup times will be provided based on your location. We’ll start the morning with breakfast before checking in 30 minutes prior to your scheduled flight or water taxi departure. You have two travel options to the mainland: ✈️ Flight Option: A scenic 15-minute flight from San Pedro to Belize City. 🚤 Water Taxi Option: A 1.5-hour boat ride across the Caribbean Sea to Belize City. Upon arrival in Belize City, you’ll meet your tour guide for the day. From there, it’s approximately a 1-hour drive north to the Altun Ha Maya Ruins. At the site, your guide will take you on an informative walk, sharing the fascinating history of this ancient ceremonial center. You’ll also have the opportunity to climb the Temple of the Masonry Altars, which stands about 55 ft tall, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. After exploring Altun Ha, we’ll drive about 1 hour to Frank Eddy Village for a traditional Belizean lunch. Following lunch, it’s a 15-minute drive to the zipline adventure. Ziplining: Your guide will introduce you to your zipline guides and equipment. The course features 6 platforms, starting at 25 ft high and gradually increasing in height and length. The final two lines are over 1,000 ft long, providing breathtaking views of the lush rainforest. After ziplining, we’ll take a 30-minute drive to the Belize Zoo, where you’ll see over 100 species of rescued or rehabilitated native wildlife, including jaguars, black and spider monkeys, tapirs, pumas, crocodiles, deer, and many more—all living in natural habitats. Finally, it’s about a 40-minute drive to Belize City’s municipal airstrip for your return flight to San Pedro. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting to take you back to your resort.
